Social Media Mobile Apps for Virtual Assistants On The Go

Social Media  is now an important part of every Virtual Assistant’s life. We use it to network with clients, to promote products/services, to gain knowledge and for other work purposes. As a VA, we have to maximize the use of Social Media even if we are away from our laptops or desktop PCs. Thanks to different social media apps for iPhone and other devices, we can still do our social media marketing task while on the go.

Here are the top on my list:

HomeBase – This is dubbed as social media megaphone. Through this, you can instantly broadcast announcements with links and pictures to all your social media channels (Facebook, Linkedin, Twitter, Tumbler, Flickr, Foursquare, MySpace).

This is compatible for iPhone and iPad for only  $1.99

Hootsuite – if you are already using hootsuite on your pc, I’m sure you are aware how powerful and efficient it is. This is great to manage different social media accounts and the best thing about hootsuite is that it includes almost all the important social media sites. There’s no need to jump from one app to another if you have hoostuite installed on your phone.

This is available for iPhone .Android and Blackberry devices .

Reputation by Five Blocks– This allows you to track results on  search engines so that you know what users  see when they search for you. This app also gives you updates when someone mentions you or your terms   in Blogs and News, on Twitter, and in YouTube.

You can get this app for  FREE on App Store.

Wired PR Works – This is another great free app that gives you tips and strategies on how to be successful on your business. It also connects you with social media marketing and pr communities. This app is full of information that will help you with your marketing efforts.

Vine – Do you like adding videos on your social media marketing efforts?  Vine is the tool for you. This app allows you to instantly create and share short looping videos on Twitter and Facebook. You can upload as many videos as you want and it’s FREE. You don’t have to worry on the length of time to upload and watch because it compresses the videos to avoid hassle to the users.

Flipboard – this is described as your personal magazine because you get to choose what you want to see.Through Flipboard, you can search for the latest news about anything including social media and technology  or you can even add your favorite publication in it. Plus you get to connect to all your social media networks (Facebook, Twitter, Flickr, Instagram etc.) and see updates in a beautiful magazine layout.

What about you? Do you have other great social media mobile apps to add on my list? Please share it with us!
